24/25: see also Annual Results in Archive
17/8/24 Everton (A) - w 0-3 = 3.0pt/gm
new dawn, new day, new season and everything seemed like paradise...

24/8/24 Man Utd (H) - w 2-1 = 3.0pt/gm
it was end to end, VAR got involved too, the winner arrived in stoppage.

31/8/24 Arsenal (A) - d 1-1 = 2.33pt/gm
the game starts with eleven each side but rules have to be obeyed.

14/9/24 Ipswich (H) - d 0-0 = 2.00pt/gm
all over 'em like a rash but name of the game is scoring if you want three points.

22/9/24 Forest (H) - d 2-2 = 1.8pt/gm
the clean sheet goes west early and a response is expected sooner than later.

28/9/24 Chelsea (A) - l 4-2 = 1.50pt/gm
they say the definition of madness is doing the same thing over & over and expecting a different result.

6/10/24 Spurs (H) - w 3-2 = 1.71pt/gm
there were goals in this match but very hard to predict the order of scoring 'em.

19/10/24 Newcastle (A) - w 0-1 = 1.87pt/gm
defending is an art but it does help the cause if opponents fail to score.

26/10/24 Wolves (H) - d 2-2 = 1.77pt/gm
game management is crucial, especially at very end of affairs.

2/11/24 Liverpol (A) - l 2-1 = 1.60pt/gm
go a goal up and get more chances but you need to defend well too.

9/11/24 Man City (H) - w 2-1 = 1.72pt/gm
a poor first half can be addressed on the re-start and by the hour mark.

23/11/24 Bournemouth (A) - w 1-2 = 1.83pt/gm
have a man sent off and ten have to do the jobs of eleven.

29/11/24 Southampton (H) - d 1-1 = 1.76pt/gm
you have to be on your game from the get go to the final whistle against all opponents.

5/12/24 Fulham (A) - l 3-1 = 1.64pt/gm
if you turn up after a short journey make sure you turn up on the pitch.

8/12/24 Leicester (A) - d 2-2 = 1.60pt/gm
going into stoppage and altering the formation might lead to adverse effects.

15/12/24 Crystal Palace (H) - l 1-3 = 1.50pt/gm
its the so-called derby match and the performance should be good... if not better.

21/12/24 West Ham (A) - d 1-1 = 1.47pt/gm
a forty-five minute bore turns into a score draw but neither side deserved it.

27/12/24 Brentford (H) - d 0-0 = 1.44pt/gm
the attempts on goal piled up and subs came on as the clock ticked with it still goalless.

30/12/24 Aston Villa (A) - d 2-2 = 1.42pt/gm
you start level, take the lead and try to keep a clean sheet against odds.

4/1/25 Arsenal (H) - d 1-1 = 1.40pt/gm
it's a cold & wet January nite and holidays are over, so Europe seems far away.

16/1/25 Ipswich (A) - w 0-2 = 1.47pt/gm
they say things like go thru the gears to overcome a stubbon opponent hanging in there.

19/1/25 Man Utd (A) - w 1-3 = 1.54pt/gm
going to a massive stadium requires a big performance with all to play for.

25/1/25 Everton (H) - l 0-1 = 1.47pt/gm
when opposition has the nous to make gamesmanship count towards points who is at fault?

1/2/25 Forest (A) - l 7-0 = 1.41pt/gm
no other words required but; complete capitulation.

14/2/25 Chelsea (H) - w 3-0 = 1.48pt/gm
Prem results now going from ridiculous to sublime.

22/2/25 Southampton (A) - w 0-4 = 1.53pt/gm
you can only try to beat what is in front of you - but by how many?

25/2/25 Bournemouth (H) - w 2-1 = 1.59pt/gm
scoring goals is what counts against opposition who find the net.

8/3/25 Fulham (H) - w 2-1 = 1.64pt/gm
when it goes into stoppage on level terms do you take a point?

15/3/25 Man City (A) - d 2-2 = 1.62pt/gm
in an open game we were twice chasing but did not fold this time around.

2/4/25 Villa (H) - l 0-3 = 1.56pt/gm
is it over confidence or not understanding winning mentality when suffering a soft defeat?

5/4/25 Palace (A) - l 2-1 = 1.46pt/gm
in a match involving historical regional rivalry away support expects one hundred percent effort.

12/4/25 Leicester (H) - d 2-2 = 1.50pt/gm
throwing points away against a drop-zone outfit is not enjoyable to watch.

19/4/25 Brentford (A) - l 4-2 = 1.45pt/gm
the game plan appeared disjointed and travelling fans voiced an opinion.

26/4/25 West Ham (H) - w 3-2 = 1..50pt/gm
happy clappy was out and open & honest was in but would it make a difference?

4/5/25 Newcastle (H) - d 1-1 = 1.48pt/gm
is VAR ruining the game or making clear how Ref is just human?

10/5/25 Wolves (A) - w 0-2 = 1.52pt/gm
the benefits of a clean sheet are apparent when goal difference hangs in the wind.

19/5/25 Liverpool (H) - w 3-2 = 1.56pt/gm
do you give title winners every respect or put in a performance to test every ability.

25/5/25 Spurs (A) - w 1-4 = 1.60pt/gm
on the last day it's all up for grabs as rewards fall to winners if luck is in.
