ANFIELD
Hey, they wanted a new stad but in recent years a lot of redevelopment at the ground has taken place and furthers attendances to above 60k.
Earlier 54k capacity and home of a single tier stand, Spion Kop, which got named after a battle on hillsides during the Boer War of 1900. Other three stands are two tiers.
Away end is on Anfield Road and not huge for numbers - was only around 2k. Noisy enough place though.

Road; M62, A5058 for 3mls to turn left into Utting Ave. After 1ml turn right on Arkles Lane.
Believe it or not, there is some parking at Goodison on the other side of Stanley Park.
Station - Kirkdale via Lime Street (no trams) from Liverpool Central. Walk mile to ground, heading toward Stanley Park.

30/11/19 - Another away Prem fixture and travelling support had an up north feel, Seagulls did ok even if it was a bit grim . Att 53,319, away 1851.
