RESULT: 0-0
VENUE: the Gtec Stad, London - sixteenth away match of 30 fixtures to date . Wed 7:30pm.
BEFORE KICKOFF: we were back in SW of the capital city as the run-in began in earnest for Prem clubs thus situated;
an elite few in sight of the podium, those like us in the middle mass and several strugglers at the bottom.
But in the financial league BHA headed all comers with a 123m profit on 204m turnover in last accredited accounts.
So Tony Bloom & Paul Barber readily signed up for forthcoming attractions.
WEATHER: mild . GATE: 17,024 . KIT: green & black . ATMOSPHERE: metropolitan oral & aural.
ROBERTO de ZERBI had many things on his mind but only one active competition to think about during April & May.
Currently employed as Brighton head coach he was tasked with finally reaching seventh place or better.
RdZ looked at the remaining fixture list, noted his injury & availability lists and produced a pragmatic team-sheet.

FIRST HALF: at half an hour gone it was goalless with little significant goalmouth action at either end.
And so it remained nil-nil at the interval despite very late pitch-side monitoring via VAR.
SECOND HALF: going into final quarter of this dour contest little had changed bar spurious away attempts.
Late attacking alterations to the away line-up occurred as travellers toiled to score.
IN THE END: failure to score against a weaker opponent was more disappointing than an easy clean sheet.
