FIRST HALF: hosts held visitors initial probes, also surviving a VAR induced spot-kick monitor check but fell behind all the same after the half hour mark.
Seagulls were unable to make spasmodic forays count at the sharp end.
SECOND HALF: Dunk did not reappear due to injury.
Two behind after the hour mark and the contest was virtually over given Albion have double trouble finding the net.
It became a futile exercise of huff & puff with an extra man.
IN THE END: no clean sheet, chasing the game, playing basic low-quality mid-div football, pedestrian between boxes, errors in both areas, poor finishing and all but a fail to score stat, late consolation in stoppage time.
