A quite nice looking modern stadium built for the 21st century on McAlpine's alternative straight lines. 25000 all seater. Was 4000 allocation for out of towners, in half of east stand but now put behind north goal.
All mod cons but still queues as per usual. Small crowds make the place a bit of a mausoleum.
Listen, there is an athletics track adjacent where they train and it's better than Withdean on a good day - that's life but not as we know it now.

M6 J25 and A49. On edge of town, turn at main junction with Robin Park Road and go on to Loire Drive for car parks. Away spaces signposted.
Station is Wigan North Western and a very long way to walk. Taxi!
