One of the first pukka enclosed grounds fit for the new century. A bit of a curvy structure and a donut shape to boot. Nearly 28k capacity with large allocation for away support in the south stand behind goal.
Has a buzz anyway due to Amex-style architecture.

M6 J21a eastbound M62 to J12. M60/61 link for Bolton to M61 J6. Follow signs to ground.
Away car park or various match-day parking locally.
Station; Horwich Parkway from mainline in town. Half mile walk to ground.

Travelling support were rewarded with a display that went from rapture to nervous exhaustion.
Withdean era: no visits from 1999 to 2011.
