FIRST HALF: travellers were quickly chasing the game from the fifth minute and had to score at least twice to register an improbable victory.
Early injury to our starting debutant meant his like-for-like impact replacement had 75 minutes at least still to play.
A second sub in defence also appeared before the interval, as exertions told on struggling wayward Seagulls.
SECOND HALF: the away outfit plugged away past the hour mark following earlier respite via VAR.
Potter next put on a winger and went three at the back. Iron were toiling for possession and mainly counterattacking by response.
Visitors were then down to ten men due to another injury with over 15 minutes to go including stoppage.
But late pressure from travellers continued and a point was salvaged right at the death. VAR checks prolonged agony.
