GTECH COMMUNITY STADIUM
next: Tue 2 April
Relocation to a site at Lionel Road near Kew Bridge was proposed but prior to 2014 was a tad over troubled Thames waters. Plans for the Community Stadium of 17,250 became a prolonged work in progress thereafter. Opened in September 2020.

GRIFFIN PARK (pictured)
A pub on every corner and a real cocktail of a venue. They can get 12000 punters in all shapes and sizes of stands and one (away) is even a 'Wendy House'. Away mobs were out on the old Ealing Road Terrace (now covered) but in Brook Road end these days, where a couple of thousand can sit or stand and stay dry behind the south goal. The bogs are still sub-standard and stewarding used to be oppressive -
or was it vice versa? Atmosphere can be a slight let down depending on score.
M4 to A4 at Chiswick roundabout, then left at next into Ealing Road. Street parking.
Train to Brentford from Clapham Common, platform 3. Short walk via Hamilton Road to Brook Road.
Tube is South Ealing, way over from the A4 down the Ealing road.
LAST THERE -
Falmer years: 5/2/17 Championship.
It was a Sunday afternoon out for B'ton fans but quiet & peaceful were last words you'd use to describe atmosphere & performance.
Withdean era: 8/3/11 - League One.
Away win on the way to promo in our last term before moving stad. Bees were regular noughties opponents at this level.
