SYNOPSIS: useful possession and pressure from visitors following the get go recorded positive stats and a couple or so of likely chances to boot.
By comparison Hammers offense were metaphorically munching mince pies, supping mulled wine and relaxing in slippers near a warming log fire.
Immediately prior to the interval blue shirts nudged ahead from scoring first.
Hosts made two changes on turnaround and upped the ante as anticipated.
The initial clean sheet disappeared too soon in a contest beginning to fit profiles of the proverbial game of two halves.
More action at each end revealed additional scoring before it was all over bar tea and a cosy chat.
