FIRST HALF: we were watching pro football of top quality, where both hosts & visitors very direct intentions were to lead by converting a goal-scoring opportunity.
SECOND HALF: normally here these words would associate with ebb & flow between and at scoring milestones.
But it has to be said that the manner of play was excellent from each eleven, given stalemate all but prevailed to the end.

IN THE END: it might be summed up as splitting hairs to determine a winner and so both sides get credit for reaching high standards with a view to claiming three-point accolades.
