Post Match report for the Leicester game - Saturday, 12th April 2025
PREMIER LEAGUE 24/25: Brighton V Leicester - 12/4/25 P32
* * * * * FANS ARE NOW NOT SO FORGIVING * * * * *
RESULT: 2-2 ~ Pedro 2 . (h-t 1-1)
VENUE: the Amex, Falmer - sixteenth home match of 32 fixtures to date . Sat 3:00pm.
BEFORE KICKOFF: from start of April Brighton fans had endured embarrassment when defeated at Palace 2-1 last week and previously here losing to Villa 0-3. That hugely anticipated FA Cup run had also faltered at the Amex by end of March when failing to score aet and then putting merely 3 pens away in the shootout versus rampant Forest.
We could forgive low level displays if the result was right but recently BHA were running out of goal scorers hitting the net.
WEATHER: dry . GATE: tba . ATMOSPHERE: faithful support was not amused.
FABIAN HURZELER was under pressure to kick-start the run-in from ground zero and find any pragmatic way to win.
FH was having problems with the defence conceding as many goals as forwards were scoring.
Defenders and central midfield were hardly a regular source for goals and several players had not scored at all for Albion.

FIRST HALF: hosts dominate possession and miss several chances.

Momentum then swings acutely towards travellers as they finish strongly.
