GRAHAM POTTER was full of praise and positive critique for players returning from international duty. He internally espoused that seeing is believing and awaited assumed reactions to lining up once more at elite club level.
A settled side took to the field after a two week break. Colombian signing Caicedo sat among substitutes.

TIMELINE: an early opener from visitors meant hosts had to come from behind to get all points. They strived
to dominate but the away side ensured enough ebb & floe during rest of the first half to regularly relieve it.
Albion were anticipating a home reaction on turnaround and got pushed back. The leveller duly restored
parity and it was more fault of travellers lack of correct decisions than distinct home advantage.
Into final quarter time-wise and visitors were hanging on, having soaked up a fair amount of pressure
and stopped going forwards.
Subs had arrived but back-peddling was not a means to an end. VAR controversy against BHA.
A useful forty-five minute display once again did not morph into a ninety minute performance and
is the story of an inexperienced squad going through work experience this term.
FUNDAMENTALS: poss 58%-42%, on target 7-3, off target 8-2, corners 5-6,
