VENUE: the Amex, Falmer - second home match of 3 fixtures to date . Sat 5:30pm.
BEFORE KICKOFF: it was the summer bank holiday weekend and supposedly a sell-out as Sussex bulged with extra visitors.
Some season-ticket holders were still on a beach elsewhere tho and would presumably receive live feeds via satellite.
WEATHER: sunny evening . GATE: tba . ATMOSPHERE: away end party time.
ROBERTO de ZERBI knew what reality was and considered Albion could play better, score more and concede less goals to show improvement.
RdZ lost Enciso to long-term injury but otherwise had a main group of 20 outfield players available for selection, plus a few U21s for numerical support.
He also wanted to buy additions before the August transfer window closed.

0-3 - 63 . an attacker made most of leaving Seagulls in a heap by being a bit more than just a big nuisance.
1-3 - 81 . GROSS slotted in a late consolation and home support wondered why it had taken so long.
YELLOWS: Mitoma
CHANGES: 60 Pedro & Lallana for Welbeck & Gilmour . 72 Veltman & Adingra for Milner & March
FIRST HALF: a fail to score stat in the opening forty-five minutes and letting in a howler gifting the lead to travellers set a local negative trend.
SECOND HALF: oh dear! The game was up just after the hour mark when more defensive lapses got punished.
Meanwhile hosts over-played in build up, allowed opposition a blocking formation and recycled endless ineffectiveness.
IN THE END: an object lesson from visitors in how to win against a team surrounded by plenty of hype but lacking the nous, flexibility, experience and skills to turn game-plan, possession, scoring attempts and killer instincts into salvaging a point.
NUMBERS: poss 79%-21%, on target 10-7, off target 15-5, corners 17-4,
