FIRST HALF: locals marked up on visitors attempt to put a regular passing game into action from a disjointed display.
Hosts were on top and took the lead as travellers toiled to find any cohesion when going from back to front.
SECOND HALF: a better performance from crimson shirts soon got the lead reduced... until very late in the night.
IN THE END: the home outfit made most of being the better side, establishing a two goal cushion.
