Travel: Luton

Luton's GroundKENILWORTH ROAD

Covid restrictions: tba
relaxed 26/1/22 - no covid pass or negative test (15/12/21) . none @ 19/7/21.
(17/5/21 = 2.5k home fans . lockdown 3 @ 6/1/21, no fans).
(Post lockdown 2: Tier 2 @ 27/11/20 = 2k . Tier 3 @ 17/12/20 no fans).

A 10 thousand old school pitch squashed in by housing. Away contingent in north end Oak Road Stand up to 2200. Overlooked by home fans and they get gobby. Unfriendly and homophobic atmosphere.
Plans to build a new stadium in Power Court area.

On the 100 mile mark. M1 J10 signs to town centre but bear right down Wimborne Road and go past ground to Station. Pay and display there.
Station 15 mins walk but cut thru by Sainsbury's super store, over footbridge.

LAST THERE -
Falmer years: no visits from 2011.
Withdean era: 17/2/09 EFL Trophy.
Over 1500 B'fans saw 2nd leg of JPT southern area final. A tad noisy too for locals in nearby housing.
12/4/08 League One.
A win on the road as we chased a playoff spot.
