relaxed 26/1/22 - no covid pass or negative test (15/12/21) . none @ 19/7/21.
(17/5/21 = 5k home fans . lockdown 3 @ 6/1/21, no fans).
(Post lockdown 2: Tier 2 @ 27/11/20 = 2k . Tier 3 @ 17/12/20 no fans).

A modernish 20k all-seater built in '93, with 4 discrete 2 tier stands of same height. Corners are open with windshields at ends of cantilever type stands. Facilities and bogs etc are good. Loads of Met Police and stewards cluster at away end. Up to 4000 behind the north goal and upper tier usual only.
Atmosphere is typically noisy with plenty of banter towards South London locals.
They are that busy berating their own team to notice - usually!

Only 50 miles. M25 J2 onto A2 and follow into New Cross Gate. Steer for City/Westminster signs.
Street parking or odd small car park 5-10 min walk.
Local station is South Bremondsey with fenced walkway to away end. Trains from/to London Bridge platform 14-16, plus Transport Cops.
Surrey Quays underground 15 min by foot, or Canada Water longer if in docklands area.

LAST TIME -
Falmer years: 17/3/19 FA Cup QF.
Four years since getting back to the Den but it was an unbelievable afternoon of high drama. Gate - 17,137 away 2338.
17/3/15 Championship.
1300 got there and 'enjoyed' a nil-nil. It was an evening we realised things could only get better.
Withdean era: 28/8/09 League One.
Our last trip to Bermondsey to play a side we met a lot during the noughties.
