Predictions League? Back but strange!
Hello Folks.
The Predictions League is a bit different this season!
Unfortunately, my old fashioned website has been plagued with problems ever since a security update at the servers. One of the worst affected areas
was our good old Predictions League and it needs re-building from the bottom up. My technical wizard is onto this, but due to time constraints and
holidays etc it will not be ready for the coming season. However.............
In the meantime, and for one season only, I have borrowed another Predictions League for us to use.
It has been customised to our league and to Brightonfans, but the scoring system is a little different. For example, there are 10 games and not 8 to
predict, and bonus points can be scored for guessing high scoring games rather than 1st team to score.
I am still getting used to it all myself, but I guess the best thing is to 'suck it and see', so it should now be operational and I invite you to
familiarise yourself with it at your leisure.
All your old usernames and passwords should work with the temporary version, but if you have any problems or spot any gliches please post questions
and comments on this thread and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
My apologies for the absence of our familiar old version for this season.

More players needed. We only have 13 players entered so far. Don't forget to get your predictions in!
Sully, I like it too and if it proves popular then we may incorporate it into the 'old' version when it is repaired.

I can only input predictions for 14/8/10. It tells me who has predicted scores for 7/8/10 but not their score but won't let me input my own?

Hopefully Wardy, I have sorted that problem out now but there are a few others and a lot of folk have not been able to sign in or up in time for the
fast approaching first game.
We may have to postpone the start. More news very soon.
