What's up with NSC?
NSC is temporarily closed in order to ensure people read, and take notice of, the following:
Today I received a threat of legal action relating to potentially libellous postings on NSC.
Please be aware that NSC is not here to allow people to make libellous postings about individuals and oganisations. If you have a grievance with
someone, please use another avenue to air it.
I have always 'run' (I use the term loosely) NSC as a hobby of sorts, and I'm simply not prepared to assume legal and/or financial risk for the
reckless actions of others. NSC logs quite a bit of information about you and it is likely that it could be used to locate and identify you, should
the need arise. You are almost certainly not as anonymous as you may think.
Simply - please think before you post.

That seems to explain it.

Without repeating the 'libellous postings' wouldn't it be a good idea to let people have some clue what it was that was so wide of the acceptable
mark... and perhaps how long it was there, and why it didn't get moderated?

That would be up to Darren. Maybe you could email him?
I don't know as I didn't read it.

Evening titanic (& Wardy!)
I must confess I found Bozza's message came as bit of a shock tbh. I've been racking my brains as to what the offending posting(s) might've been -
although I wouldn't actually mention it on here for obvious reasons! I really hope the threat of legal action doesn't actually come to much,
otherwise I can see Darren deciding that the site just ain't worth the hassle. Fingers crossed eh? x X

I can't think that there have been anything specific about any one individual other than the kit man which was sometime ago. Seems odd timing. how
long will it be before the argus runs a story about it!!!

I don't think it does any good to speculate.
Does anyone have any interesting news? Hopefully another couple of signings?

You're right Wardy, speculation won't actually achieve anything (other than provoke even more speculation). I'm sure we'll find out soon enough
anyway. x X

Morning all, long time no see. As I'm sure you're aware NSC can be like a school playground at times and things get out of hand, a sort of 'Board
Rage'. I feel sorry for Bozza big time as this has happened before and nobody would blame him if he decided to give up. I have to admit I have had my
less brilliant moments and I thank Brightonfans for letting me post this message.
Expect an influx of NSC people and a spate of speculative posts about possible comings and goings !

They enjoy their little articles about NSC closing.
Thankfully one individual comment is not as callous as promoting and promising a phoney trip to the World Cup for one 'lucky' reader.
