Sami Hypia

There is a lot of doom and gloom about at the moment but I do not think
TB will sack him and he will turn our results atround

I am the eternal optimist but even I am giving up on him, BensGrandad. Didn't Leverkusen sack him because he only had one style of play? It is depressing to be 21st when I think we deserve so much more.

I am sure that after Tuesday, which was not the best performance but a good result, we will start to climb the league and remove any doubts about Sami

I am not sure of what the answer is as we had another poor performance generally yesterday.

Maybe it's the style of play? I am still unsure whether Sami is good for the Albion in the long term and I honestly don't want to dip any lower than 21st.

I think his set back was Sammy Lee not joining him and choosing Saints. Think he needs an experienced no 2 more so than Nathan Jones.

I really think we should stick with him. Like BG has said above, Jones isn't a great number 2. But, I do believe we'll continue upwards if we hold onto a manager longer than a season.

Nathan Jones is experienced, and won the U21s league at Charlton. Don't take the lazy way out and start blaming everybody and anybody.

So where do you suggest the problem lies?

I think it's a mixture of things. I think the tactics haven't helped, the fact that the manager doesn't choose the players, some players not having the footballing brain to get into positions when chances arise.

Fingers crossed that the international break will give us time to consolidate and come out fighting for the next game.

We have looked better with EB in the side. Interesting that he tweeted that him and his wife/girlfriend had dinner at The Coal Shed with Glenn Murray and his wife over the weekend. Wouldnt it be good if they spoke of both returning in January, unlikely I know but we can dream.

It looks very much like Hypia is on borrowed time which is running out fast unless we can string together some wins between now and January window. If we dont I cant see TB funding any more transfers for him and will hand the reins and funding to a new manager.

The reins need to be handed over now before we fall any further.
