Mental Strength

I don't know about the players but I certainly need some mental strength to get through these last few fixtures. You'd think after all the years of supporting this club I could manage all the ups and downs, twists and turns better! Still, that's the thrill of the game I suppose. Other results have been going for us. Come on you Seagulls, press home your advantage…starting tonight!:D

Agreed Reet. I feel the same and I feel I should be holding my breath but unsure I can hold it for the last few games and survive!! Come on boys let's have a win and make our current advantage of other teams losing count.

Yesterday turned out to be the real nail biter (especially in the second half) which I was hoping it wouldn't. Oh for a couple of early goals for us on Saturday! I'm not against excitement but would also like some calmer moments to savour during the run in.

At this rate I shall be needing a pacemaker to keep my heart going. The Albion never make it easy to support them, do they?

Maybe supporting the Albion should carry a Health and Safety warning, something on the lines of:

Supporting Brighton and Hove Albion may seriously damage your health. Please read the leaflet within before deciding whether to become a supporter. :D

I couldn't get to yesterday's game as I was working, but I got the impression that the Albion were not at their best, and got a lucky point. Is that the way it was, or did we deserve the draw?
EDIT - I've now watched the highlights on The Football League show, and it looked as if a point each was about right. Leroy Rosenior thought that too.

To be honest, sam's dad, I didn't recognise the team I saw on Saturday. I wondered if nerves were actually playing a part but Oatway seems not to think so according to his interview. It was definitely a 'Phew' not a 'Yeeha' result. Let's hope the team can meet Gus' target and pick up at least three 'Yeehas' before the end of the season!

I think you're right. :D

Would we have it any other way?

Love it :)! Probably appropriate, given that supporting the Albion becomes highly addictive in addition to the health implications. I just need one more fix...;)

No we definitely wouldn't have it any other way, Wardy, and agreed, PNW, that we look forward to the next Albion fix. I hate having no Albion during the summer.

A point away at Posh is valuable when others are losing. We're now up to 4th place and above Palace.

And another three goals scored against Palace - good for those Tractor Boys! Onwards and upwards.

Basically, today's results were addition by subtraction. Although our form has not been brilliant of late, the form of our competition for the playoffs has been distinctly underwhelming, but much appreciated!

Here is to another weekend of under-performance for all but our beloved Seagulls!

I am looking for a lock-down defensive performance and a single well-taken goal to send the Tangerines back north empty-handed.

Barnes is available for this game so let's hope he can silence his critics when he plays.

What a wayfor Barnes to do it, with an assist for the first goal and 2 goals to his name.
A great game at the Amex today and I look forward to Sully's visit here later this evening.
