Sad to see him leave. I got the same knee injury a week after his and saw the same consultant as him to get it sorted out, so I was following his
recovery closely and willing him to prove the form he showed when he first joined us. He was a very good player for us in the second half of the
season and in my opinion proved he can cut it in the Championship. Clearly Gus feels he can do better so it will be interesting to see who comes in.
Hopefully he'll get a good contract elsewhere.

He had a bad season last year when we won the title and was awarded 3 months to prove himself which he did well. I hope he gets a good offer elsewhere
as he can certainly play at top league 1 or lower Championship level. It will be sad to see him go as he's been a great professional and a hard
worker.

Agreed - he did a good job and did well to come back from an awful injury. I think he is good enough for the Championship but if we are building a
team to take us up, then players need to be at the next level.
I think we would all wish him well as has already been said - he is a model professional and a popular guy.

I think he could do well at Peterborough actually, Lets see.
Here is a nugget of useless info for you, I know Dean Coxs' sister very well and she told me last summer he was offered a deal by PUFC but he turned
it down as it wasn't much more money and he is enjoying his time at Orient and it is closer to friends and family.
Don't say I never give you all anything

He played the best football of his life with us this season but alas I'm not sure that was good enough to get us into the top 6, so I was a little
frustrated he got picked so often during the play-off chase, for me Gus was playing it a bit too safe.
It's odd that a player who was such a first choice pick gets shown the door straight away though. Gus is as hard to read as ever.
Navs I think is a League 1 player, he just lacks that bit of pace, strength and trickery to really mix it in the Championship, intelligent and
disciplined worker though he is. But he will be a great signing for a promotion hunting team there, wonder if Crawley will show an interest.

I'm still in touch too. Talking of which she is running in the Brighton Marathon next April for MIND, which I think is a great cause. If anyone can
spare a fiver or two then please donate here.
